  • Ideal if you need an overview, rather than thousands of database results

💊 Drugs - Examples include Therapeutic Guidelines, MIMs, Micromedex

🧒 Paediatric Apps - Examples include RCH Clinical Guidelines, RCH Paediatric Intensive Care Guidelines, APLS

App Advantages ✔

  • Can provide functionality when not connected to the Internet
  • Can provide additional functionality to that found on the website

App Disadvantages ❌

  • Installations can be large (storage, data)
  • Many sites are mobile optimised anyway, so can be just as good to visit the website on your phone. You can add shortcuts to sites on your phone screen
