- Can provide functionality when not connected to the Internet
- Can provide additional functionality to that found on the website
App Disadvantages ❌
- Installations can be large (storage, data)
- Many sites are mobile optimised anyway, so can be just as good to visit the website on your phone. You can add shortcuts to sites on your phone screen
